Chill Dough Before Baking: Cooling the dough in the refrigerator before baking helps to firm it up, resulting in scones with a better shape and texture.
Even Brushing for Golden Tops: When brushing the scones with heavy cream before baking, ensure an even coating to achieve uniform browning and a beautiful golden color.
Monitor Baking Time: Keep an eye on the scones while they bake to prevent overcooking, as they can quickly go from golden to burnt.
Serve Warm: For the best flavor and texture, enjoy the scones warm out of the oven with a dollop of butter or additional jam on the side.
