Sweet & Spicy Chicken Recipe

Serves 6-8 | Prep Time: 5 mins | Cook Time: 20 mins


Ingredients

  • 2 tsp. season salt

  • 2 tsp. garlic powder

  • 1 tsp. chili powder

  • ½ tsp. ground cumin

  • 1 tsp. paprika

  • ¼ tsp. ground red pepper

  • 8-piece chicken thighs or chicken parts

  • Cooking spray

  • ¼ c. honey

  • 2 tsp. cider vinegar

Let's Get Started!

Step 1: Preheat broiler.

Step 2: Combine the first 6 seasoning ingredients in a large bowl.

Step 3: Add chicken to the bowl, and cover with seasonings.

Step 4: Place chicken on a broiler pan covered with foil, and coat with cooking spray. Broil chicken for 5 minutes on each side.

Step 5: Combine honey and vinegar in a small bowl and stir well until mixed. Remove chicken from oven and brush with half of honey mixture.

Step 6: Broil for an additional minute, then remove and brush with the remaining honey mixture. Broil for one additional minute or until the chicken is done.
