Same Day Key Lime Pie Recipe

Serves: 8 | Cook/Prep Time: 45 mins | Chill Time: 2 hours


Ingredients

  • 9 -inch prepared graham cracker crust

  • 2 eggs

  • 2 egg yolks

  • ½ c. fresh lime juice or Key lime juice

  • 1 (14 oz.) can sweeten condensed milk

  • 1/3 c sour cream

  • 1 tsp. grated lime rind

  • ½ c. sugar

  • 2 ½ T. water

Let's Get Started!

Step 1: In a medium bowl, beat eggs and egg yolks with a mixer on medium speed until well blended.

Step 2: Add lime juice and condensed milk, and sour cream, beating until thick, and stir in lime rind.

Step 3: Spoon mixture into prepared crust.

Step 4: Bake at 350 F for 30 minutes or until firm in the center.

Step 5: Remove from oven and let cool on a wire rack, then cover and chill at least 2 hours before serving.
