Baking Tips & Tricks
Don’t Overmix: Once the wet and dry ingredients are combined, mix just until incorporated to avoid a dense cake
Check Doneness with a Toothpick: Insert a toothpick into the center of the cake—if it comes out clean, the cake is ready
Evenly Distribute the Frosting: Pour the hot frosting evenly over the cake so it soaks in and coats every inch of the cake
Ensure Marshmallows Are Fully Melted: Whisk until marshmallows dissolve completely in the cocoa mixture for a smooth cake batter
Don’t Skip the Buttermilk: The buttermilk adds tenderness and flavor to the cake, so don't substitute it with regular milk

Flavored Marshmallows: Use flavored marshmallows (like vanilla or chocolate) to add an extra layer of flavor to the cake.
Frost with Different Glazes: Instead of the cocoa frosting, try a cream cheese frosting or caramel glaze for a different flavor profile
