Baking Tips & Tricks

  • Chill the Dough: Chilling the dough for at least 4 hours ensures the cookies bake up thick and chewy instead of spreading too much

  • Use Room Temperature Ingredients: Make sure the butter and eggs are at room temperature to get a creamy, smooth batter

  • Measure Flour Correctly: Be sure to level off your flour when measuring to avoid dense cookies

  • Don’t Overmix the Dough: Mix the dough just enough to combine the ingredients—overmixing can lead to tough cookies

  • Scoop Evenly: Use a cookie scoop or tablespoon to ensure each cookie is the same size for even baking

  • Space Cookies Properly: Leave enough room between each cookie on the baking sheet to allow for spreading while baking
