Cajun Fried Shrimp Recipe

Serves 6 | Prep Time: 10 mins | Cook Time: 15 mins


Ingredients

½ c. all-purpose flour

1 ¼ tsp Cajun seasoning, divided

1/8 tsp. salt

¼ c. milk

¾ c. panko breadcrumbs

1 ½ pounds large shrimp, peeled and deveined

¼ c canola oil


Let's Get Started!

Step 1: Combine flour, 1 teaspoon Cajun seasoning, and salt in a small dish.

Step 2: Pour milk into a small dish, place panko breadcrumbs in a separate small dish.

Step 3: Dredge shrimp in flour mixture, dip in milk, then dredge shrimp in panko breadcrumbs, and shake off the excess breading.

Step 4: Heat oil in a large skillet or wok over a medium heat.

Step 5: Add half of the shrimp, and cook for 2 minutes on each side, or until done. Repeat with remaining shrimp.

Step 6: Serve with your favorite sauce and side dish.
