Banana Bop Frozen Treat Recipe

Makes 1 dozen | Prep Time: 20 mins | Freeze Time: 30 mins

Ingredients

2-3 medium bananas

1 c. (6oz.) chocolate chips (I like dark chocolate)

2 tsp. shortening

Toppings (can be anything you like): chopped toffee, coconut, sprinkles, chopped nuts

Let's Get Started!

Step 1: Cut bananas into six pieces (about 1 inch). Insert a toothpick into each banana and transfer onto a lined baking sheet.

Step 2: Freeze until firm about 1 hour.

Step 3: Melt chocolate and shortening in a microwave; stir until smooth.

Step 4: Dip banana pieces in the chocolate mixture; allow the excess to drip off.

Step 5: Dip in the toppings; return to the baking sheet. Repeat with all banana pieces.

Step 6: Freeze for 30 minutes, then serve. Enjoy!
